Opening of new Antenatal Classes rooms
On 19 and 20 March in our hospital there was an Opening Ceremony of new Antenatal Classes rooms which have been refurbished and fitted in equipment within the implementation of the project “A healthy baby – education, preventive medicine and refurbishment of wards in the Healthcare Centre in Chełmno in order to improve the quality of perinatal care in the region” which has been co-financed from the funds of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
The ceremony was led by Katarzyna Linkowska, an obstetrician known to parents from the Antenatal Classes and the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Ward who described the figure of Władysław Fijałkowski - the founder of the first Antenatal Classes in Poland. Joanna Pilkiewicz, who also conducts classes for parents and works at our ward as a nurse, discussed how our Antenatal Classes has changed thanks to the funds of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism. A nurse, Natasza Żeglarska, presented a new course of Shantala massage which she carries out with Joanna Pilkiewicz. At the end Katarzyna Linkowska thanked gathered people for coming.
